王家大院

Wangjia Courtyard is situated on the north of the Jingsheng Village, Lingshi County, about 35kms from the ancient city Pingyao.院落呈南北轴线，主殿坐北朝东。王家大院依山而建，居高临下。

Covering an area of 34,450 square meters, the Wangjia Courtyard is composed of three parts: the east part, the west part and Xiaoyi Ci (Xiaoyi Ancient Temple).王家大院是一个紧密的群落式建筑群，被誉为“中华第一民居”。

和其他中国传统建筑一样，木雕、砖雕、石雕随处可见。

Some are carved on the eaves, ridgepole, screen wall and some are carved on shrines, windows and gates, and so on, all of which are incredibly lifelike and marvelously conceived. 这里的建筑既体现了北方建筑的雄伟，又体现了南方建筑的典雅。

The Wangjia Courtyard is the combination of the architecture art and paintings, calligraphies, poems at the same time.这是当地人甚至中国人的骄傲。
