Pick up from your hotel in Shanghai in the early morning and transferred to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station . Take the earliest high speed train (5-6 hours) for Beijing on the day. Arriving at Beijing South Railway Station at noon and met by our tour guide. Buying something to have lunch on your own and start your one-and-half hour drive to Mutianyu Great Wall .
Getting to Mutainyu Great Wall for 2 hours walking on the wall, one of the most beautiful sections of the sections of the Great Wall around Beijing. The Mutianyu section of Great Wall is located in Huairou district, about 80 km north from downtown Beijing. It is a green section of the great wall in Beijing with vegetation, green pines and cypresses covering 90 per cent of the section
After tour, transferred to Beijing South Railway Station to take the last high speed train ( 5-6 hour ) on the day back to Shanghai. Arriving in Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station and return to your hotel on your own .
PS: If time permits , you will have a short visit to Tian’anmen Square . Tian’anmen Square is located in the heart of Beijing City, it is the site for massive parades and rallies, which is the largest square of this kind in the world. This was the site when in 1949, from a rostrum on Tiananmen (the Gate of Heavenly Peace), Chairman Mao proclaimed the establishment of the People's Republic of China.
