Tianjin Port - Beijing Round Trip 3 Day Tour

Picked up from your ship at Tianjin Port in the morning, take our private vehicle with an English speaking tour guide and drive directly to Mutianyu Great Wall ( hiking for 2 hours ). The Mutianyu section of Great Wall is located in Huairou district, about 80 km north from downtown Beijing. Mutianyu Great Wall works as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. It is a green section of the great wall in Beijing with vegetation, green pines and cypresses covering 90 per cent of the section.

After your Mutianyu Great Wall tour, back to the downtown hotel in Beijing.

Meal: Chinese Lunch

Picked up from your hotel in Beijing around 9:00am, first visit Tiananmen Square ( sightseeing for 40minutes), the largest city square of such kind in the world. Tiananmen Square is the heart and symbol of Beijing. Then move on to Forbidden City ( 2 hours ), also known as the Imperial Palace Museum. The Forbidden City was the seat of Imperial power for 500 years, and is now a major tourist attraction in China.

Then continue to visit Temple of Heaven (1.5 hours), the place where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. It is located in the southern part of Beijing, and had been one of the most holy places for the whole country for more than five centuries. It used as a complex of sacrificial buildings for the Ming and Qing emperors.

After Chinese lunch, continue to visit Summer Palace (2 hours), one of China's largest imperial garden. Summer Palace was originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty, Its predecessor was the Garden of Clear Ripples (Qingyiyuan) started in 1750 and burned down by the British and French allied troops in 1860. Overnight in Beijing.

Meals: Breakfast at hotel and Chinese lunch

Picked up from your hotel around 8:30, first visit Back Lakes ( Shichahai Area ) (1.5hours) behind Beihai Park for Hutong tour. First walk along Houhai Bar Street and then take rickshaw going around the deep Hutong in Shichahai area, visiting an ordinary family in a courtyard. Then ascend the Drum Tower and have a bird's eye view of the old Beijing - Back Lakes Area (Shichahai area).

After Chinese lunch, continue to visit Lama Temple (1.5 hour). Lama Temple (Yonghegong) is a very important attraction just after Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven in the city center. A former palace of the emperor, subsequently given to the Lamas. A series of beautiful halls and pavilions comprise this Mongolian-Tibetan yellow-sect temple.

After visiting Lama Temple, you are transferred to the Olympic Sites (the Bird's Nest and Water Cube) for an outside look (40 minutes), a magic for the 2008 Olympic Games.

At the end of the day tour, you are returned to your ship at Tianjin Port.
