Harbin - Yabuli Ski Resort - Snow Town 4 Day Tour

Arrival in Harbin, met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Harbin (booked by us). Kindly reminder: you are recommended to book a Harbin-bound flight which arrives before 11:30am, giving your more time for the afternoon tour.

After lunch, you will start up your afternoon tour by driving further north ( about 37km north of Harbin downtown) to see the Siberian tigers in the Northeast Tiger Park . You are arranged to have a close look at the tigers on a moving bus as well as having a chance to see the tigers through a special walking corridor. It is a thrill and exciting experience to these cute big cats.

After viewing the Siberian Tigers, you continue to visit the Snow Carving Festival in Sun Island . The Sun Island is one of northern China's most scenic spots and is famous throughout the country as a resort. However, in winter, when the whole island is covered with snow, that it is the best time to take part in the famous Snow Carving Festival here.

Then in the later afternoon, head to the Ice & Snow World , an ice fairyland on earth. The ice carvings at the Harbin Ice and Snow World are listed as the world's greatest examples of ice art, the largest ice and snow art exhibition in the world of this kind. People can enjoy the largest and most amazing ice-sculpted masterpieces.

Around 7:30pm you are returned to your hotel in Harbin. Overnight at the Harbin Weijing Holiday Hotel or similar hotel.

Pick up from your hotel around 8:00am, then have the 3.5-hour drive to get to Yabuli Ski Resort . Yabuli Ski Resort is the official name given to the biggest ski resort in China (Chinese:) lying about 240km to the south-east of Harbin city.

Take part in some snow and ice activities and hop on a snow-bike or snow-motorbike for a surge of adrenaline. Step into a horse-drawn sled, head out on an off-road adventure or slip on a pair of skis and brush up on your skiing skills as you slalom your way down primary to advanced slopes. ( only entrance fee is included, other activities are at your own expense).

You will spend approx. 3 hours in Yabuli.

Around 3:00 pm, head to China Snow Town . China Snow Town or Xuexiang in Chinese (中国雪乡)is reputed as the most desirable place to experience the thickest snow and plentiful snow activities in China. The snow in the town is both thick and sticky, a feature making the town a snow fairyland.

In winter, the traditional houses and courtyards are decorated by the thick snow, creating magnificent natural snow engraving arts – snow mushrooms, snow curtains, snow rabbits, snow horses. At night, the whole town is lit up by the red lanterns hanging outside their houses and on the streets, making the snow town a romantic place for wandering and unwinding.

After hotel breakfast, you are on your own to enjoy the leisure time in the snow town. Taking photos on the street or around the houses in the town. The entrance fee for Snow Town is included. But there are some the photogenic sites in the town you need to pay for entry fees ( optional ). You may have a bite of the local food, play a snow fight, or hire a dog sled for fun ( optional),etc.

Early Morning Optional: Hop on a bus up to Yangcao Shan to see the beautiful sunrise over Snow Town (at your own expense).

Around 1:00 pm, start to leave China Snow Town for the trip back to Harbin (approx. 5.5 hours)

Start today's tour with the visit to into the freezing Songhua River and watch Harbin Winter Swimming. Winter Swimming is a very popular sport in Harbin. The brave winter swimmers go swimming in the icy water in winter while the other people watch wearing thick clothes. Local swimmers put on some performances like dancing and boxing on the ice as well as swimming in the pool against the chilly weather.

Then head to t the city landmark of Harbin - Sophia Church ( outside look). It is the largest Eastern Orthodox Church in China as well in the Far East. It has the height of 53.3 meters and has an area of 721 square meters.

After lunch, you are transferred to the airport or train station for your next destination. You are recommended to book a flight or train after 3:30 pm.
