Shenzhen is a highly developed modern city, but compared with many big cities in China, Shenzhen does not have many natural scenic spots. Shenzhen has established some artificial ones to attract travelers. There are many attractions worth a visit in Shenzhen.
No. 01: China Folk Cultural Village China Folk Cultural Village, which is located at the west side of the Splendid China in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, is founded in October 1991. The area of China Folk Cultural Village is 158,000 square kilometers.
The China Folk Cultural Village is a national style museum of 56 nationalities, including 24 villages of 21 nationalities.
Various national festivals are celebrated in a magnificent manner here. China Folk Cultural Village can be considered as the soul of Chinese arts that are imposing theory and poetry. The China Folk Cultural Village attracts every tourist from the whole world.

No. 02: Splendid China Splendid China, which is a miniature scenery park in Shenzhen, is located at the gorgeous Shezhen Bay. Splendid China is the largest and abundant miniature scenery part in outdoor scenes.
The total area of Splendid China is 300,000 square kilometers.The miniature sites in the Splendid China are arranged according to the positions of the real ones in the map of China. So the whole park is just like a huge Chinese map.It is a window on China for the foreigners to know about Chinese culture and history. No. 03: Window of The WorldShenzhen Window of The World, with the total area of 48 hectares, just abuts upon China Folk Cultural Village. Shenzhen Window of The World integrates world wonders, historical relics, natural scenes and folk performances.
Window of The World which contains 118 sight spots, is divided into nine areas: World Square, the Area of Asia, the Area of Oceanic, the Area of Europe, the Area of Africa, the Area of America, the Area of Modern Science and Technology Entertainment, the World Sculpture Park and International Street.

No. 05: Fairy Lake Botanical Garden The Fairy Lake Botanical Garden is located in the eastern suburbs of Shenzhen City. The western hillside of Mt Wutong, the highest peak in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone is inlaid with the garden as a splendid green pearl.
The Fairy Lake Botanical Gardens is the very place where nature lovers will want to spend at least half a day exploring. No. 06: Dameisha and Xiaomeisha BeachesDameisha and XIaomeisha are two finest seaside resorts of Shenzhen. There two beaches in the Yantian District are located just a few kilometers apart.
The area around Xiaomeisha is fun to explore, with several interesting looking seafood restaurants and stores selling seaside knickknacks on the strip between the beach. Both beaches offer stands selling and renting various floatation devices & water toys in case you forget to bring your own and both beaches have surf in season. No. 07: Shenzhen Safari Park Shenzhen Safari Park, as the first stocking safari park in China, is built on the bank of the Xili Lake of Shenzhen with picturesque scenery and covers an area of 1,200,000 square meters.Shenzhen Safari Park is a miracle place visiting birds and beasts, elegant and clam natural environment and unique garden design are the first in China.The whole park is divided into three area, i.e. the Vegetarian Area, the Wild Animal Area and the Walk Performance area. This area has the largest swan lake in China. Visitors can float in this lake to appreciate the graceful black and white swans. Considered the national treasures of China, the pandas are also well worth viewing.

No. 08: Donghu ParkRenowned for its 20 chrysanthemum exhibitions since 1984, Donghu Park in Shenzhen's Luohu District is the place where visitors find themselves.
The first feature of animal sculptures is where chrysanthemums are formed in various shapes of peacocks, dragons, elephants and butterflies.
The Donghu Park which overlooks the Shenzhen Reservoir was renovated in the year 2002 and boasts vastly improved views and facilities. On the west side is the Donghu Hotel where you can spend a relaxing afternoon after sipping coffee.Entrance Fee: free for the entrance (some of the projects in the park need to be paid)

No. 09: Overseas Chinese Town East Overseas Chinese Town East is a scenic spot in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, near Huaqiaocheng Station in the Shenzhen Metro.Occupying about 9 square kilometers, OCT East, the national ecological resort featuring tourism culture, aims at providing visitors with an opportunity to escape from the bustle of city life and return to the nature.Elaborately designed along the mountain and the sea, OCT East resort has three major theme parks: Knight Valley, Tea Stream Valley and Wind Valley.
