At 4;50pm Oct 19, 2010, we are approaching Wu Gorge (巫峡), one of the Three Gorges between Qutang Gorge and Xiling Gorge.
Wu Gorge is the most famous and beautiful gorge of the three, with a total length of over 40 km starting from the mouth of the Daning River( the Little Three Gorges ) of the riverside town of Wushan to the Guandukou Town of Batong( Guandukou is 17km west of the riverside town of Badong County ).
Its cliffs tower over 900 meters, topped by the sharp, jagged peaks on the either bank. A total of 12 peaks are perched on the either side, including Goddess Peak and Peak of the Immortals.
This time I don't go to the observation deck on the 6th floor. Instead, I walk to the bow on the fifth deck with less ship facilities to bar our eyesight.

There are totally twelve peaks standing along both sides of Wu Gorge. Among them, Goddess Peak is the most well known for its beauty.

Then again, I come to the stern to take the photos of the Wu Gorge under the backdrop of the dusk.
Wu Gorge viewed through the window of my room is not bad. I can easily enjoy Wu Gorge while sitting in my room.
