Shanghai Huangshan 6 Day Train Tour

Arrival in Shanghai, picked up and tranferred to your hotel in Shanghai. You are free for the rest of the day.

First visit Shanghai Museum, the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times. Then proceed to visit the "Pedestrians only" Nanjing Pedestrian Road, a walking bustling street that is always packed with people waching other people. Then move on to The Bund, one of the most noted waterfront and architectural symbols of Shanghai.

Today you have a la carte lunch with an a la carte menu at a nice local restaurant, where you could enjoy the authentic Chinese food. After lunch, go to Shanghai's new zone - Pudong ( east of Huangpu River) and ascend Jinmao Tower to have an eye-bird's view of Shanghai city. Finally take one hour cruising on Huang Pu River. Back to your hotel.

After breakfast, visit Yu yuan Garden. Yuyuan is the famous gardens in Shanghai where you will see how a large beautiful garden was made by a rich rice merchant 400 years ago. Adjoining these gardens is an old shopping area with narrow streets and buildings that were of a typically old Chinese style. There are many small streets and lanes where vendors sell their products and food stuffs to the tourists and local people. Shopping at a local silk store.

After lunch, Explore the charming water town by boat : Zhujiajiao is an ancient water town also known as the Shanghai's Venice. Zhujiajiao is full of the old buildings combined with the water canals, really authentic water village which represent the old Shanghai. A boat trip down the river and then walk through the small shopping streets, cross the amazing bridges, visit the beautifully laid out gardens and old houses. There are great opportunity for some great photographs.

After tour, take high-speed train from Shanghai to Huangshan.

Local driver meets you at Huangshan railway station and escort you to hotel.

Met by our tour guide in the morning and head to Huangshan Scenic Area, about 1.5-hour's drive, 80km away from downtown Huangshan City. Arriving at Yungu Telpher Station where you take cable car up to the mountain. Check in at your hotel - Beihai Hotel. After lunch, you start your sightseeing in Huangshan. Today your visit is focused on Beihai Scenic Area and Xihai Scenic Area including the visits of Brush Pen Peak, Begin-to-Believe Peak, Lion Peak, Xihai Grand Canyon. Enjoy sunset at Cloud Dispelling Pavilion in the evening. Stay at Beihai Hotel including dinner.

Get up early to try your luck to see sunrise at the top of Mount Huangshan. After breakfast at your hotel, beigin your visit in Yuping Scenic Area including Flying-over Rock, the Brightness Peak, Turtle Peak. Then take cable car at Yuping Station down to the foot of the Huangshan Mountain.

After lunch, you are trnsferred to Tunxi ancient city to explore the ancient streets in Tunxi. After dinner, you are taken to Huangshan train station and take high-speed train for Shanghai.

Local driver meets you at railway station and transfer to your hotel in Shanghai.
