Badaling, Juyongguan and Mutianyu Great Wall

Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel at 9:00am. Get to the Badaling Great Wall around 10:30am. Badaling is known for its imposing magnitude. The wall here averages 7.8 meters in height and has a width of 5.7 meters at the top and 6.5 meters at the base. The walkway on top is 4.5 meters wide, making it possible for five horses or ten soldiers to march abreast. It is one of the most gorgeous and magnificent part of the Great Wall in Beijing. Hike the east section of Badaling Great Wall for 2 hours. Cable car is optional.

After lunch, drive to the Juyongguan Great Wall . Juyongguan Great Wall is site of an ancient military town which is replete with military installations, watch towers, official residences, temples and other structures. The Juyongguan Pass Great Wall is sectioned into two semicircles - east and west. You are arranged to have a 2-hour's hike across the west section of the Juyongguan Pass Great Wall. The Juyongguan part of the Great Wall for its beautiful views and challenging hike. No cable car is available at Juyongguan Great Wall.

After breakfast at the hotel, then head to Mutianyu Great Wall . The Mutianyu Great Wall is also one of most beautiful sections of the Great Wall in Beijing. It has an extremely beautiful natural landscape once you are up on the wall, green, densely wooded. This section of the Great Wall is comparatively smoother and less crowded than most of other sections. Hike for 2-3 hours at Mutianyu Great Wall.

After the hike, come to a local restaurant for a late lunch. After lunch, transferred back to your midtown hotel in Beijing.
