Many prominent gender scholars today argue that gender is always fluid for every person to some degree over time. But gender fluid people (流性人）, specifically, experience this fluidity in a more polarised manner and in societally uncouth ways, but embrace this attribute of themselves regardless.
Some of the common identities that go along with this experience are “agender” and “nongender.”
