July is the hottest month in Beijing in a year. Temperatures could rise to 30°C-40°C during daytime at the highest. With the high heat of July also comes humidity, making the heat more unbearable and uncomfortable overall.
July and August, the two months are also in the rainy reason. Don’t forget to bring your umbrella as the rain often comes in thunderstorms. July and August are tourist peak season for domestic tourists. Beijing is packed with both locals mainly due to the school vacations in China.
