Each time on a Chongqing Tour, Chongqing People's Hall will be listed on my travel agenda no matter how tight my schedule. The grandeur building has stood there over 60 yeaars since 1951 when it was built under the suggestion of Marshal He Long.
It got its present name - Chongqing People's Hall 1955. The hall is 65 meters high, and large enough to hold more than 4,000 seats.
ForChongqing first time visitor, to see the magnificent building is a must. Entrance fee; RMB 10 and opening hours: 08:00 to 18:00. The suggested visiting time is half hour.
