If you are on a business travel to Beijing and looking for a good place for...
Shichahai refers to the area around the three lakes - Qianhai Lake, Houhai Lake and Xihai Lake. Shichahai Guildhall is named after Shichahai since it is located by the water on three sides of Qianhai Lake in Shichahai Area.
This commercial guildhall is set in an ancient courtyard building of luxurious furnishing and garden-like style.
When you enter Shichahai Guildhall through its traditional gate with upturned eaves, you will see a spacious courtyard dotted with green trees hung with cage birds.
The place is also suitable for holding a private or commercial party. The main building is a two-storey structure. Its main hall on the first floor was built with a wall carved with the Chinese characters "longevity" written in different styles on the one hundred bricks.
The second floor of the main building is an round-shaped sun room which can hold about 150 people for dining. Sitting there you can have a good view of the lake of Shichahai. The restaurant offers some unique private dishes of typical Chinese style. It is ideal for leisure dining or commercial banquets.
The owner of Shichahai Guildhall is Mr.Pei Wu, a very successful businessman, who also owns the boutique hotel called "Shihchahai Rosewood Theme Hotel" in Shichahai (Tel: 83220266), and Shichahai Boats (River Ramance).
