"It is snowing!" has become a rare excitement for the local Hangzhou people. Hangzhou, in China's mid-east coastal area, used to snow quite a lot even just back to 1970s when I was a kid. Playing snowball fight, making a snowman and taking snow scene photos were much expected during each snowfall.
Partly due to the global warming, Hangzhou now rarely expects the unexpected "It's snowing now!", which is a very common thing in the Northeast China (Dongbei).
If you happen to be on your Hangzhou tour or Shanghai tour while you are hit by unexpected snowing in Hangzhou, no matter you are a snow bird craving sunshine and warm weather or from a warm country longing for seeing snow, it is worthwhile going out and bracing for stunning views of the China's classical beauty! Of course, you won't miss the Snow Lingering on Broken Bridge.
