Plan your Hangzhou Tour in winter? Nowadays snowing has become a rare thing in many cities in China due to the effects of global warming. In my childhood memories there used to snow a lot in my hometown - Hangzhou. People in Hangzhou now expect snowing every year with fewer chances of snowing in the past 20 years.
Snow in China is inclined to fall in the northern China and relatively less in the southern China. But this year much of the snow drops in the south instead of the north for unknown reasons.
People flock around the 20 km-some West Lake, sightseeing and taking photos. I myself take the earliest bus to the city center of Hangzhou and walk to the lake shoreline for appreciating the snow scenes. Below are some of the pictures taken on my day trip to the West Lake after snowing.
