Nanning, the capital of Guangxi autonomous region, is located in the southern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, 160 kilometers from the border with Vietnam.
Nanning is close to scenic Guilin, with its world famous hillscape, northern and western Guangxi and its minority villages, and the border with Vietnam in the south. Nanning is truly a garden city with charming natural subtropical scenery.
The resort starts from Qingshan Road in the west, going clockwise, along Zhuxi Road, to south of Minzu Avenue in the east; from east to west going clockwise, the resort covers the intersection of Minzu Avenue and Yongning County, along the boundary of Nanning and Yongning to San’an Bridge, then along the 200-metre reserve belt along the south of the Yongjiang River to the north of Nanning Bridge.

In the park, tourists can fully appreciate the views of various plants, such as Pinang, Chinese fan palms, and other tropical trees. The Museum boasts a collection of more than 50,000 cultural relics, including 400 bronze drums, the largest collection in the nation, and over 50,000 ancient books. The Museum has two basic displays, namely, the Display of Guangxi Historical Relics, and the Display of Guangxi Revolutionary Relics. The Display of Guangxi Historical Relics exhibits heritage from 50,000 years ago.

The Detian Waterfall is over 200 meters wide and has a drop of more than 70 meters. Its water rushes down a three-tiered cliff with tremendous force.

It is the largest waterfall in Asia, and the second largest transnational waterfall in the world, connecting with a waterfall in Vietnam. The fall is awe-inspiring, and its thunder is audible before it even comes into view. The changing seasons transform the natural scenery of the waterfall throughout the year.
Entrance Fee: CNY 80 Opening Hours: the whole day How to get there: There is one Special Tourist Bus at Langdong Station of Nanning to Detian Waterfall every day at 9 a.m., and you have to get back before 3:30 p.m.
With the average altitude of 1200 meters and the 190-meter food of mountain, it has 16℃ as the average temperature of the year. Influenced by south Asian tropical wind and local topography, the temperature in the upper mountain is 8-10℃ lower than that at the mountain foot.
The clear changing of seasons shows the fog in spring, waterfall in summer, cloud in autumn, and snow in winter, all of these terrific landscapes gain the fame of “Guangxi’s Lu Mountain” for itself.

Unique architectures of various minorities such as Ganlan of Zhuang nationality, bamboo buildings of the Yao nationality, houses projecting over the water of the Miao nationality, and drum towers and storm-proof bridges of the Dong nationality, are all displayed here. Inside these buildings, the daily use articles and handcrafts are also on display.
In addition, there are restaurants of different minority groups in the bamboo buildings of the center, providing tourists with various delicacies and dishes with special flavors.

After you climb to the top of the stairs, you are standing on the top of this hill, it is the highest point in Nanning urban area. There is a ancient emplacement on this highest point. This emplacement has a history of more than 100 years. In the emplacement, you can see a big iron cannon inside.

In 1987, it was qualified as the natural reserve and the beauty spot of the autonomous region. The main objects under protection are rare medicinal herbs and the Karst Mountain scenery.The scenic spots already open to tourists include a limestone cave, stone forest, and an area for feeding monkeys. There are more scenic places that will be opened for tourists in the near future.

Today Yangmei, which covers an area of 6.5 square kilometers, is studded with well-preserved old buildings dating back through the dynasties, and boasts the most beautiful scenery that a southern river town of its kind can offer. The 5300 townspeople continue to live as they have for a thousand years, just as if the time had stopped.

With so many beautifully shaped stone flowers, pillars, curtains, stalagmite and stalactite, visitors may find different sights at each step. Created with prodigious skill, sights in the cave are ever-changing scenery of rare beauty.
