The courtyard at No. 23 Beigouyan Hutong in Dongcheng District is a traditional Beijing courtyard residence with three sequential courtyards. Older travel pages labelled it as Liang Qichao's former home, but later local heritage notes corrected that attribution and treat the site more accurately as Beigouyan Hutong No. 23 Courtyard.
The compound is associated with Liang Qichao's family, especially his daughter Liang Sishun and her husband Zhou Xizhe, rather than with Liang Qichao living here himself. Its value today is mainly as a historic hutong courtyard and a clue to the lives of modern Chinese intellectual families in old Beijing.
The courtyard is not operated as a regular ticketed attraction. Visitors should treat it as a quiet hutong heritage stop, view respectfully from the lane if access is limited, and avoid disturbing residents.

Take Beijing Subway Line 5 to Beixinqiao or Zhangzizhonglu Station, then walk through the nearby hutong lanes to Beigouyan Hutong. The lanes are narrow, so public transport and walking are preferable.
This is not a regular public museum or ticketed attraction. Visit quietly from the lane unless current access rules clearly allow entry.
