Great Wall Hike Creates Bonding Moments

The Great Wall of China comprises long and connected fortifications with different names. China's Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) was the era of the massive building of the Great Wall of China.  As the capital of Ming Dynasty, Beijing was heavily constructed with solid brick and stone walls on its  northern mountainous areas to protect Beijing and the empire against the raids and invasions of the various nomadic groups from the north.

Today the massive ancient military works has become a shining star attracting a consistent flow of tourists who come here, appreciating the creativity of the people in the old times, feeling and touching the history, and looking for the bonding moments with their family members and friends which we are wanting in our busy and monotonous life.

I've been climbed almost all the sections of the Great Wall of China surrounding Beijing, either restored bits of the Wall or half renovated or even wild and unrestored chunks of the Wall. Every time ascending the Wall, I find people are getting exhilarated by the magic Great Wall and its beautiful environment and landscape.

I think walking on the Great Wall of China is a special activity which is unique to all of us, something that creates memories that will always be with us, the kind of bonding moments, and make us become more positive with more smiles.
