China Snow Town, also known as China Snow Village is a hot winter...
The Snow Town is officially called "Shuangfeng Forest Farm", one of the 20 tree farms under the administration of Dahailin Forestry Bureau (大海林林业局) in Changtingzhen Township (长汀镇) of Hailin City (海林市), Mudanjiang (牡丹江), Heilongjiang Province in the most northern China.
The unique geographic locations of these forest farms give them much longer snowing time in a year resulting in big and heavy snow, a big draw that attracts thousands of tourists each winter season from all parts of China, especially from the Southern China and some from Southeast Asian countries where snowing is a rarity.
Two of the forest farms are much sought after by visitors are Shengfeng Forest Farm 双峰林场 (popularly known as China Snow Town) and Dongsheng Forest Farm ( also known as China Snow Valley).
China Snow Town and China Snow Valley is only 13 km apart, a 4-6 hour snow hike, which has become a most popular snow trek for winter holiday makers.

Many visitors would prefer to share a vehicle, starting up early from Harbin, and drive to the southeast direction first to the city of Wuchang (五常).
We are passing by the city of Wuchang, 11okm southeast of Harbin. Wuchang is well known for its fine quality rice.
