Planning your Harbin Tour? If you want to see and play the so-called best...
China Snow Village, or China Snow Town, literally Zhongguo Xuexiang (z中国雪乡) in Chinese, is actually officially known as Shuangfeng Forest Farm. Its snow beauty has gradually transformed the village into a well-known snow tourist destination. Every winter the one-street village entices a consistent flow of tourists, especially from the Southern China where people rarely see any snow in their life time locally.
When night falls, villagers will light up their red lanterns hanging at their houses, making Snow Village a land of white and red. Now follow me to have a glimpse of the one street village and some of the courtyards along the street.
Along the main street of the snow village, you will see, like other tourist destinations, restaurants, stores, vendors selling local products or tourist souvenirs. Behind the street front shops are usually lined with houses, which offer food and accommodation for tourists flocking here for experiencing the snow.
