Northwest Turret and Northeast Turret are my favourite photo spots. The beauty of Chinese traditional architecture attracts a consistent daily flow of visitors and photographers, professional and amateur.
The waist-level moat wall on the northeast corner was full of people, photographers with their cameras on theirs tripods and tourists with their smartphones busy taking pictures of the turret tower. I even saw a young couple taking wedding photos.
