Natioal Flag Raising Ceremony

The ceremony starts with a team of guards of honour marching out of the Tian'an men and put the flag up on the flag-pole in the northern end of the Tian'an men Square.

Usually the ceremony will last about 10 minutes and attracts hundrands or thousands visitors every early morning, especially during such these important days as on May 1 st (International Labour Day), on Oct 1 st (National day), every New year, and China's lunar New Year as well.
