Plan your Shanghai tour in March? March is a transitional month from cold winter to warm spring. It is still a bit chilly in Shanghai in March. Its feeling temperature is lower due to the humid cold air and gusty northern wind, plus the lack of indoor heating system popular in the northern China.

In March, specially on the first half month, Shanghai is still a bit chilly, windy and humid with the average temperature between the highest 13℃ and the lowest 5℃ characterised by the big temperature drop between day and night.
