Wuyishan Airport, Wuyishan Airport with Taxi, Bus & Terminal Information

Most travelers would like to stay in the hotels in Wuyishan National Holiday Resort since Wuyishan Scenic Area is on the west bank of Chongyang Stream just opposite Wuyishan Scenic Area. It is very easy for you to walk, or take a taxi or a tricycle to the entrance to the scenic area across Chongyang Stream from the holiday resort.

Wuyishan Airport was first built in 1958 as a military airport. With the rapid development of the local tourism, Wuyishan Airport was expanded since October 1992. The civil Wuyishan Airport began to be put into operation on Jan 15, 1994.

Now Wuyishan Airport is a 4 Class civil airport with a yearly capacity of handling around 500,000. Wuyishan Airport has a 2400 meter long runway with an airport ramp or apron of 18,000 square meters, accommodating Boeing 737 and MD-82, mid-sized airplanes.

Wuyishan Airport is an all year round airport, well linked with 27 cities and regions in China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macao, Shezhen, Xiamen, Zhuhai, Shantou, Changchun, Shenyang, Dalian, Tianjin, Jinan, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Zhengzhou, Xian, Haikou, Ningbo, Fuzhou, Jingjiang, zhoushan, Kunming and etc.

In some cases, the taxi drivers would like to bargain with you for the destination you are going. Usually from airport to Wuyishan National Holiday Resort, the taxi fare will be approxi. RMB 30

You just walk about 5 minutes to the main avenue - Wuyi Avenue. By the Wuyi Avenue, you can easily hail the Bus No.6 or No.5 either for Wuyishan City or Wuyishan National Holiday Resort for the bus fare of RMB 3.

A "City - Xingcun Bus" (市区-星村）passes by Wuyishan National Holiday Resort.
