Plan your Chengdu Tour? One thing you should not miss out is to wander through Jinli Ancient Street (锦里), originally built as early as Shu Kingdom ( 220 – 280 AD) and known as “The First Street of the Shu Kingdom” .

It has become a major tourist attraction in Chengdu, attracting a great number of travelers each each year, which boasts of ancient buildings, traditional cultures, local food and customs.
The old street of Jinli (锦里) tends to immerse people into the atmosphere of the old charming Chengdu and give people an opportunity to savour local culture and foods.
Jinli Old Street combines the ambience of ancient and modern China. Strolling down the narrow street, you will find yourself surrounded by a charming old world. The wooden steles and the brick-walls exhibit an ancient charm.
There are also a variety of Sichuan characteristic snacks in the street, a variety of teahouses, cafes, bars, and inns.
